version
I live in the Seattle area with my wife and our two dogs, Charlie and Eleven. Eleven is named after Stranger Things, which probably tells you most of what you need to know about this household.
Unplugged is where everything that is not about tech ends up. Life first, in whatever shape the week hands it over. Travel, and mostly the small parts of it, the detour and the odd breakfast rather than the landmark. Baseball, which around here is less a hobby than a long term commitment, and I am a Mariners fan, so you already know how that tends to go. And pizza, which I take more seriously than is strictly reasonable and will drive a genuinely silly distance for.
I write about technology over at mattevanstech.com, and I like doing it. But the things that actually make a day are rarely the things that fit over there. A walk that ran long. A game that got away from everybody. A place that turned out far better than it looked from the street. Those go here instead.
